Ross Champion

I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2010 with a maths degree. Prior to starting my masters in Sports Journalism, I have worked in sports betting (as an in-play football trader), teaching and accountancy.

I have an interest in almost any sport but am particularly focused on football and cycling. I have the dubious honour of supporting Arsenal and look forward to winning 4th place this year. I'd love to to write about cycling and hope to one day cover the Tour de France.

My favourite sports journalists are Paul Kimmage and David Walsh due to the tireless work that they did to out the cycling fraud Lance Armstrong.

My hobbies are heavily centred around sport and I play football for two local teams, with age showing an alarming negative correlation in relation to my performances.
